Projects

We’re constantly discovering new ways of telling stories to little humans and their grown-ups. Whether it’s a cosy Christmas show, a sensory adventure for babies, or a playful tale packed with puppets and giggles, our projects are made with care, creativity and curiosity at their heart.

Here’s what we’re working on at the moment…

Theatre Sprout and Northern Stage present

The Night Before ChrisMouse

Saturday 22 November to Saturday 3 January at Northern Stage, Newcastle upon Tyne

A person stands with their arms outstretched on a dark stage dressed as a mouse with big pink ears, surrounded by stacks of presents wrapped in brown paper and colourful ribbons, under string lights.

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the house not a creature was stirring, not even a… MOUSE!

Join MOUSE on a Christmas Eve mission to deliver a present.

Step 1. Climb to the top of the pile of presents.

Step 2. Edge across the window ledge.

Step 3. Don’t get caught by CAT!

A festive tale told with original music, puppets and lots of opportunity to squeak along and join in.

For under 5s and their grown-ups. A perfect first theatre experience.

Every performance of The Night Before ChrisMouse is relaxed, which means the lights stay on and audience members are free to move around, making these performances a welcoming space for older children with additional needs too.
